General Photos
Many of the people in the photos on this page are familiar faces but the names are beyond my recall. If any of you can help, please let me know.
This lot looks like the H to M set of the entry. I see Goff Haywood at the back second from the left, Ian King (NZ) 3rd from the right, then Mitchell and at the right hand side Geoff Lidbetter.
The middle row shows Ted Lilley in the centre, Merv King to the right, and Jock Lindsay at the right hand end.
Tom Lidbetter is in the front row at the right hand end with Lila Ram to the left.
This photo shows 1 Wing trumpeteers with Sam Sansom (centre dark hair) in charge and Dave Holbrook sitting to the right.
Someone's birthday I guess.
Doxey, who died in 1995. He looks as tall
as I remember him
This looks like the 1 Wing blocks, with
our first domicile being in the further block.
Note the rifles in the rack. A couple of empty beds too. Has someone got the chop?
Sam again in the centre. That trumpet seems rather low slung to me.
